Sunseeker Resort Opens With OTMS Interfaces

Sunseeker Resort is a waterfront resort featuring spa, pool, and golf amenities owned and operated by Allegiant Airlines. The resort opened in Florida last month utilizing multiple On the Mark Solutions (OTMS) interfaces to improve their operations including OTMS Order Status Board (OSB), OTMS Maestro Enhanced PMS, and OTMS Transaction Detail interfaces. OTMS also has a couple of custom projects in the works with Sunseeker that will be implemented in phase 2. 

The OTMS Order Status Board interface allows employees at any of the various restaurant concepts within the resort to send order status notifications to the customer directly from the POS station. The interface works with a Twilio API to send customer updates regarding the status of their order. The interface can also be used with display screens to display order names or numbers when they are ready for pickup. 

The OTMS Maestro Enhanced PMS interface connects the resort’s Simphony POS system to their Maestro property management system. The interface allows POS operators to attach a room number to a transaction in order to track rewards points or apply a room charge. 

The Resort uses the OTMS Transaction Detail interface for a data analysis project with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. The interface is a real time transaction detail level interface capturing POS check information in a customer SQL database for integration with other business intelligence systems.  Due to the cloud architecture of the Simphony POS system, customers having direct access to the underlying POS database is not possible so this system provides an alternative. 

Development is in progress for a custom loyalty interface for Sunseeker Resort. The loyalty interface will go hand in hand with our transaction detail interface that will feed the phase 1 loyalty operations by capturing loyalty customers spending. The interface is planned to connect Sunseeker loyalty to the Allegiant airlines frequent flier system.
