OTMS Interfaces at Topanga Social

Topanga Social is a new food hall in Topanga, California, a community located in the Santa Monica mountains just outside of Los Angeles. This food hall is a collection of 27 trendy Los Angeles restaurants and bars. The food hall opened its doors in May and has been successfully utilizing a couple of our most popular OTMS interfaces to improve their customer’s experience. 

Topanga Social uses OTMS Digital Receipts along with OTMS Order Status Board Simphony interfaces to give their customers digital updates on their order. OTMS Digital Receipts alone allows for customers to receive a text or email receipt sent from an Oracle Simphony POS station. Paired with OTMS Order Status board, customers can also receive SMS updates on the status of their order from any of the restaurants at Topanga Social. When ordering, the POS user attaches a phone number or email address to the check, the customer may then immediately receive a digital receipt as confirmation of their order. Staff use tablets to ‘bump’ orders ahead as they move through the preparation process, sending updates to the customer as they wait. Once an order has been marked as done the customer receives a message to let them know it is time to pick up their order. 

This software is especially useful in a food hall setting like Topanga Social as it allows customers to order from a variety of different restaurants and be notified when it is time to pick up their order no matter where they are.
