Simphony Upgrades with OTMS Interfaces
For all OTMS customers planning on upgrading their Simphony system please be aware of the impact it may have on your interfaces. Nearly all OTMS interfaces connect to Simphony POS systems and there is always a possibility of interface interruption during an upgrade. It is important that you contact support@onthemarksolutions.net at least 2-3 weeks prior to your scheduled upgrade to prevent any interface outages. With proper notice our support team can effectively prevent any interface downtime and help with a more seamless transition during the upgrade process.
Simphony interfaces allow for seamless integration with various systems, such as point-of-sale (POS), inventory management, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools, enabling smooth and efficient operations across different departments. Upgrading Simphony without first contacting OTMS may pose many risks. The OTMS support team is available during all regular business hours to lend their expertise in managing system upgrades.
The OTMS team possesses an in-depth understanding of Simphony's architecture and its intricate interfaces with other systems. We are well-equipped to assess the impact of the upgrade on our existing interfaces and recommend appropriate measures to avoid any downtime or functional interruptions. Additionally, our insights and recommendations can help you identify any potential compatibility issues with other critical systems or third-party integrations.
For these reasons, it is critical that you involve OTMS early on in your upgrade process. To start a ticket contact support@onthemarksolutions.net with the date(s) of your system upgrade. Our team will guide you through any steps you need to follow and can then continue to be available for any issues that arise along the way.
