On the Mark Solutions (OTMS) & Agilysys recently designed, developed, and deployed a new Agilysys PMS interface from Oracle Hospitality Simphony at its first pilot location. Going above and beyond what was previously available in legacy systems, this new interface employs a modern API web design that supports various account postings and revenue breakdowns important to hotel operations and audit teams.

Charge postings supported with the new interface include room, group,and house account postings. The interface also provides the PMS with a detailed breakdown of the revenues on a POS check, including the check details and printed check images. These features allow for revenue breakdowns in the PMS financial and other backend reports as well as the ability for front desk staff to research the specifics of a restaurant charge in the event of a dispute and expand guest service capabilities.
